Jarintong Under-15 FC has suffered a 1-0 defeat in the hands of Jeshwang United in the Serrekunda West Sports Organisation (SWESO) Nawetaan, on Saturday.
The Under-15 side was reduced to ten men in the 48th minute when goalkeeper Momodou F. Drammeh was sent off for handling the ball outside the eighteen-yard-box.
Waka Bass scored the only goal of the game for Jeshwang United in the 54th minute from a penalty spot when defender Momodou L. Manneh brought down substitute Lamin Jobe inside Jarintong's eighteen-yard-box.
Jeshwang United now collects seven points from three games, while Jarintong Under-15 FC are yet to collect a point in three encounters.
Speaking to reporters shortly after the game, disappointed Head Coach of Jarintong Under-15 FC, Bubacarr Touray, said his boys played a very good game despite the lost.
He said their aim is to avoid relegation, adding that they would prepare very well to win their remaining two games.
Ansumana Dampha, the Head Coach of Jeshwang United said their aim was to win the game by more goals, as their group is very tight. He also expressed confidence that his team would make it from the group stages.
