Jane Joof, the Head Coach of Samger FC has said that the league is not yet over, as they still have to play against one of the teams running for the league title.

According to him, winning their Week Twenty encounter against Wallidan FC on Saturday, at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda, and Wallidan FC loosing their games will bring them back on the contest for the league title.

Head Coach Joof also said that Wallidan FC is a big team as far as Gambian Football is concerned, noting that the game is not going to be an easy one, as they defeated them in the first round of the league.

Coach Joof also stated that he was not very happy with the result, which saw his side drawing with Real. As he put it, they have been drawing throughout the past four games. He said they are bound to accept it, as according to him, Real De Banjul have been playing very good during the second round of the league until they defeated by Brikama United.

He further stated that they should have punished Real De Banjul in the first 25 minutes when they took control of the game, but added that his players were getting fatigue, as they played during the mid-week fixtures, while Real De Banjul's mid-week game against The Gambia Ports Authority was postponed.

Joof also revealed that they were not able to execute what they wanted against Real De Banjul, adding that the game was very difficult, as they defeated Real De Banjul by 2-0 in the first round of the league. He noted that his strikers could not capitalise on their chances, which he said, should have given them the maximum points.
