Inter-community women's tourney update

Kabafita Community Association women's team will tackle Penyem Community Association female team in the inter-community women's football today at the Cannan Multi-Purpose Centre playground in Brikama.

The Kabafita side, who are currently leading the table with maximum 6 points in two games, are set to maintain their lead on top.

Opponents Penyem are 2nd place on the table with 4 points in three outings.

On Sunday, 4th placed Bafuloto Community Association women's female will face Jamisa at the Sotokoi Daru playground. The side has only three points in two outings after their 1-0 defeat in the hands of Penyem last week.

Jamisa are edging on a goal difference of two and are 3rd on the table.

Meanwhile, the 2011 Kombo Central District football tournament sponsored by Saamasang Youth and Children Development Association will commence tomorrow, 8 January 2011. 

Sixteen villages are lining up for the title. These are Penyem, Bakary Sambouyaa, Busura, Kabekelly, Marakissa, Manduwar, Darsilami, Dimbayaa, Kembujeh, Farato Sotokoi, Jamuwel, Bafuloto, Kassa kunda, Kitty, Jalabang, and Bursanding.
