The Gambia Immigration Department (GID) last Saturday donated its last year farm proceeds to the Jammeh Foundation for Peace, at a ceremony held at its Brikama office.

The donated items included ten bags of coos and ten bags of rice.

Speaking at the occasion, Commissioner of Administration at the Gambia Immigration Department, Pa Mboob said the donation was the proceeds of their farm in Siffoe.

According to him, after the hard work done by their officers last year, they felt the need to give to the Jammeh Foundation for Peace.

Deputising for the Chief Executive Officer for Jammeh Foundation for Peace, Sulayman Badjie thanked the Immigration Department for the donation, adding that the items would be donated to the hospital to help in the feeding of patients.

The occasion, which was chaired by Olimatou Jammeh Sonko, was attended by senior immigration officers.
