Musa Casa Taal, the President of the Gambia Volleyball Association (GVBA) on Monday 17th May 2010, met with various club representatives at the Gambia Senior Secondary School, to discuss the start of the league.
The 2010 Volleyball League it could be recalled was expected to kick-start earlier this month, but because of the failure of the clubs to register, it could not proceed as expected.
The clubs representatives that attended the meeting were very positive for the start of the league. They are expected to confirm their participation in the league by Friday 21st May.
This will pave the way for the club representatives to meet on Monday 24th May, to ballot the fixtures of the league.
The games will be played in a home and away form, and each club is expected to register 14 players in every game.
Meanwhile, clubs are also urged to register two different colours of set of jerseys during the league.
