The disciplinary committee of Gunjur Youth and Sports Development Association (GYSDA) has decided to fine QCell FC D300 after their fans assaulted the match officials following their 1-1 draw against Solifo FC in the 2012 Gunjur Nawettan at the weekend.
According to the Gunjur Youth and Sports Development Association (GYSDA), the disciplinary committee has decided to fine QCell FC for rude behaviour against the match officials during their game against Solifo FC.
The move was geared towards maintaining discipline at the field during the nawetan games, the committee said, adding that it had also warned QCell FC to advise two of their fans, Amie Saine and Boye Saine, as well as a player Kawsu Drammeh (alias Basmen) to maintain discipline at the field during nawetan games.
The trio, the committee recalled, were found assaulting the match officials after their 1-1 draw against Solifo FC.
GYSDA advises all teams taking part in this year’s Gunjur Nawettan to maintain discipline and tolerance at the field during nawetan matches in order to avoid being fined or suspended, while promising a free and fair nawetan.
