Gamcel FC have maintained their unbeaten run in the 2011 Basiru Bajo’s sponsored Gunjur Nooran Football Tournament after thrashing Kulukochi United FC 3-1 in group A at the Gunjur playground on Saturday.
Gamcel FC’s goals were scored by Sarjo Gibba, Yusupha Barrow (alias Beckham) and substitute Mbemba Fatty (alias Puyol) in the 25th, 30th and 70th minutes of the game respectively.
Kulukochi United FC’s consolation goal was netted by Saikou Sidibeh in the 35th minute of the game from a superb strike to make it 3-1 for Gamcel FC.
Gamcel FC top group A with 4 points in two games, while Kulukochi United FC lies at the bottom with zero point in two games.
Manchester United FC were held to a 1-1 draw by the Late Ismaila FC in a tightly contested game in group B on Sunday.
Manchester United are 2nd position in group B with 2 points in two outings, while the Late Ismaila are currently 3rd position with 2 points in two games and single goal behind 2nd position Manchester United.
