GPA ambitious to wallop GAF to revive lead in GFF 1st Division League

Gambia Ports Authority are keen to beat Gambia Armed Forces in the week-thirteen fixtures tomorrow, Saturday 19 March 2016, at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium to salvage their lead in the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation domestic division one league.

The ferry boys are currently sitting top spot in the league with 26 points in twelve league matches and are also unbeaten since the start of the league in November 2015.

They will be reinforcing themselves on the back of the Soldiers to extend their lead in the summit and their unbeaten run to thirteen matches.

The Soldiers are also among the teams vying for the league title with 17 points in twelve league matches nine points behind the league leaders. They will be searching for a victory against the ferry boys in order to close the gap.

The defending league champions Gamtel will welcome Wallidan at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

The telecommunication giants are occupying second spot in the league with 20 points in twelve league matches six points behind league leaders Gambia Ports Authority.

They will be hunting to beat blue boys to close the gap on Gambia Ports Authority.

The blue boys are mid-table and will be striving to thump the telecommunication giants to bring their league title ambition back on track.

Elsewhere, Steve Biko will meet relegation threatened Serrekunda United at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

The Bakau giant killers are mid-table with 15 points in twelve league matches.

Their target is to beat Serrekunda United to bounce back in contention for the league title after losing to Hawks 1-0 at the weekend.

On Sunday 20 March 2016, Brikama United will host Hawks at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

The Brikama-based outfit are 3rd spot in the league with 19 points in twelve league matches. They will be trying to defeat Hawks to boost their league title ambitions alive.

The Red Devils are mid-table with 15 points in twelve league matches. They are considering beating the Brikama-based outfit to improve their position in the league.

Real De Banjul will play against Bombada at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

Real De Banjul are mid-table with 16 points in twelve league matches and Bombada are one place above relegation zone with 10 points in twelve league matches.

Elsewhere, Banjul United will welcome Samger at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day.

The city boys are struggling at the red zone with 8 points in twelve league matches. They hope to bounce back against academy boys in order to move away from the red zone.

The academy boys are mid-table and are keen to beat the city boys to improve their position in the league.
