The Gambia National Lottery last Saturday distributed foodstuffs including cooking oil, rice and Tobaski rams to winners of its recent lottery.
The foodstuffs were given to the lucky players of the company’s recent jackpot at a ceremony held at its office in Kanifing.
Twenty winners went away with 20 gallons of 20-litre cooking oil, while 20 others went away with 20 bags of rice each. Another 15 also went home with 15 rams each.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the marketing manager of the Gambia National Lottery (GNL), Fabakary Jammeh, said the GNL has provided the gifts in honour of the important feast of Tobaski.
“This once again marked an important milestone in strengthening our relationship with our esteemed customers,” he said.
“This is not the first time we are giving out to our customers; we have been providing magnificent prizes over the years,” he said.
He commended their customers for their invaluable patronage to the GNL.
Mr Jammeh added that the GNL would continue to meet customer satisfaction. “The marketing department serves as a supervisor to all the sales in the GNL and will continue to serve as a goodwill ambassador,” he said.
