GHA League set to kick off tomorrow

The 2010-11 Gambia Handball Association (GHA) National League will get underway tomorrow at the

Independence Stadium Handball Court

in Bakau, Pointsport can reveal.

The most anticipated opening game will feature two bitter rivals and neighbours Worriors Handball Club and Lion Heart Handball Club in a handball encounter widely tipped to produce a mouth-watering clash.

In an interview with reporters at the

Independence Stadium Handball Court

on Thursday, the Secretary-General of Gambia Handball Association (GHA), Haruna Cham, said all the logistic arrangements have been put in place ahead of tomorrow's National Handball League opener.

Cham used the opportunity to express his association’s readiness in promoting and developing handball in all the regions across the country.

He also seized the opportunity to call on the general public to come out and witness the opening game of the National Handball League championship.
