The Gambia Girls Guide Association (GGGA) last Saturday 6th February 2010, held a two-day capacity building training at its headquarters in Kanifing.
Speaking at the ceremony, Yamundaw Jagne Jobe, the Chief Guide Commissioner revealed that since Girls Guide was introduced in The Gambia in 1928, guiding have been going well. She noted that they have embarked on a series of skills training programmes.
She added that the capacity building training brought together 64 participants from different areas in the country.
Jarra Sanneh, Dupty Chief Commissioner hailed the trainees to maintain good use of the knowledge gained from the two-day capacity building training programme.
All the participants were awarded certificates.
