GFF 2nd tier races set to continue today

The 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation second division league matches are set to continue today, Friday 11 December 2015.

Serrekunda East Bi will lock horns with Interior at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Serrekunda East Bi will go all out to defeat Interior to fancy their chances of gaining promotion to the top flight next season and also avoid being relegated to the second division.

Interior are languishing at the bottom in the second tier and are eyeing to bounce back in contention for promotion to the top flight after losing to Tallinding United 1-0 in their opening league fixtures last week.

Lions of Banjul will meet Bakau United at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Lions will be contesting hard to beat Bakau United to maintain their hundred percent record in the second tier after beating Blue Star 1-0 in their opening game last week.

Bakau United will be vying to trounce Lions of Banjul to stand in contention for promotion to the top flight next season and avoid being relegated to the third tier.

Marimoo will battle it out with B.K. Milan at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.

Marimoo are currently leading the second tier after their stunning 4-1 win over Lamin United in their opening league fixtures last week.

They will make all efforts to snatch a win against B.K. Milan to maintain their hundred percent record in the second tier as well as to fancy their hopes of gaining promotion to the top flight next season, after missing first division promotion berth to Bakau giant killers Steve Biko last season.

Elsewhere, PSV Wellingara will play against Lamin United in the all-West Coast Region derby clash at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on the same day.
