The body is said to be currently working on a way forward towards the elective congress in June and key among them include the formation of Regional Football Associations as well as the process of application of all members to the football federation.
These in due course will be related to all relevant stakeholders, a media release from the FA has stated.
“The Normalisation Committee wishes to inform all that it is also working with FIFA on the timelines for all these activities leading to the elective congress in June. Besides, the GFA is on the process of appointing an interim committee to assist in the establishment of Regional Football Associations as contained in the just adopted GFA constitution voted in by delegates,” the release added.
Meanwhile, the Normalisation Committee is requesting clubs in the 1st and 2nd divisions to submit their constitutions to the GFA not later than 15 May 2013 in preparation for the elective congress scheduled for 29 June 2013.
