Gamtel FC have set their eyes on another international clash to give Gambians another rare taste of international glory.

After seeing off Sierra Leone’s Armed Forces FC over the weekend, taking the Caf Confederation preliminary tie on a magnificent 3-0 aggregate, Gamtel of the Gambia have now advanced to the first round of the qualifiers against a North African opposition.

The next opponent is Diffa El Jadida of Morocco, who eliminated Burkina Faso’s Sonabel 1-0 on aggregate

The first leg of the tie is scheduled for Banjul at the weekend of 28 February or more exactly on 1st March since Gambia often stages international matches on a Saturday.

That is just under ten day’s time, meaning Gamtel would set their eyes on another international clash to give Gambians another rare taste of international glory by the end of the month. The return leg in Morroco comes the week after, on 7 March, in Morroco.
