Gamcel F.C Through to the Final in Gunjur Nawettan

As Nawettan football intensifies in all spheres of The Gambia, in Gunjur Gamcel F.C recently booked their place in the finals of the 2008 Gunjur

Nawettan League Championship by beating Oxford United 2-0.

The match, which ended two goals to zero in favour of Gamcel F.C, was keenly contested with a brilliant display of skills and talent and as such attracted a range of spectators from Gunjur and its environs. Yusupha Barrow and Alagie Joof scored the winning goals.

 Cathy F.C also booked their ticket to the final, after beating Commit F.C by 2-1 in the second semi-final. Cathy F.C's goals were scored by Buba Sanyang while Commit F.C's lone goal was registered by Fansu Sanyang. The date of the final is expected to be announcing later.
