Gambia and Swedish Allsvankans captain Pa Dembo Touray will open his 2011 league challenge with Djurgarden tonight away to Rasunda AIK in Monday's derby.

The team, which had a good workout on Sunday at Rasunda, is favoured to win Monday's opener after having recorded a big comeback in 2010. The team for the first time in 40 years collected the maximum points in derby matches after two comfortable 2-1 wins over AIK.

The two clubs turned 120 years in 2011 and the derby game is expected to pull one of the largest crowds in the Swedish highest league which kicked off last weekend.

Denmark

Tijan Jaiteh made his second league appearance for Danish side Randers this Sunday goalless draw against Sonderjyske. Randers failed to use home advantage to get all the three points needed from the game and instead shared the spoils with the visitors.

England

Notts County took two late goals against Oldham who picked up their first win in 13 games in the English League One.

Brandy was substituted for Njogu Demba in the 78th minute for Nott County who held out for long periods. With the game looking to be heading for a stalemate, Oldham stunned the host by sending in a surprised finish courtesy of Jason Lowe penalty and Reuben Reid efforts.

Notts County now sit on 19th place, two points outside the relegation zone.

Belgium

Mustapha Jarju's Mons lost 1-0 away to strugglers Rupel Boom on Sunday to delay their title chase in the Belgian second Division league.

Slovakia

Earlier on Friday, the clash between Momodou Ceesay's Zilina against closet rivals Solvan Bratislava ended in a deadlock. Zilina needed just three points to top the Slovakian super Liga table but the goalless draw against third place opponents was just enough to close on the difference between leading Senica to one.  Both sides are now standing on 47 and 46 points respectively.

United States

New England Revolution and Portland Timbers drew 1-1. Stephen McCarthy scored after 22 minutes for New England, and Jack Jewsbury netted the 38th-minute equaliser.

Revolution coach Steve Nichol made a substitution in the 58th minute by taking out midfield McCarthy and subbing in forward Ken Abdoulie Mansally, who joined compatriot Sainey Nyassi featured for the Revs full-time.

Omar Jasseh's San Jose Earthquake and Seattle Sounders shared four goals, with Simon Dawkins and Khari Stephenson on target for San Jose, cancelling out efforts from Brad Evans and O'Brian White.
