Assistant captain of the Gambia women Sainy Sisohosaid after Saturday’s match that the team will go all out and open a new page in their next games with the help of her technical staff
She said although a shocking defeat, but her colleagues played to the best of their abilities and that hopefully “we shall accomplish our slogan DEEM BEH JEEHK.”
Asked about what must have happen to them on the day, she said “we were nervous and it was very difficult for us because the stadium was full, noisy, big TV screen and many things also.”
She said the arrival of the Gambian fans will now make them happy and feel at home so that different ball game can be expected from them on Tuesday evening.
