One of Gambia's own youngest drummer Musa Jobarteh, performed whilst opening the blissful evening with heart-throbbing and soul reviving drum beatings with such dexterity, agility and versatility, that almost got the 'bon viveur' audience moving in rhythm with the sounds of the drum.
Speaking to this reporter, Musa Jobarteh an eight-years-old boy in Grade one living in Brikama Santo-Su, said that his parents are musicians cum griots, but his mother rarely perform in public.
'It always does my heart good when I put a smile on the faces of people with my drum beats,' he said.
