Gambia-German Centre for Recovery donates to BSC

Gambia German Centre for Recovery yesterday presented a set of Jersey and three footballs to the Banjul Sports Committee at the Mayo’s office in Banjul.

Dr Gerhard Lemp said that was the first time for them to support the Banjul Sports Committee, adding: “This is the beginning of a relationship between our organization and the Sports Committee.”

Dr Lemp stated that they are in the country to help the Tobacco Road Community in Banjul to establish a dental clinic to start with and a first-aid unit.

In receiving the gifts at the occasion, the secretary general of the Banjul Sports Committee, Ebou Faye, described the donation as a welcoming gesture, adding: “The donated materials will be given to the second division team of the city for their preparation for the Gambia Football Association Second division league season.”

The presentation ceremony was also witnessed by the Mayor of Banjul, Samba Faal.
