Former Sami Chief calls for unity and maintenance of peace

Alhagie Mam Demba Jallow, former chief of Sami district in Central River Region (CRR) north has called the people of the district to unite and maintain peace at all time.

Speaking to The Point CRR correspondent in an interview, Mr Jallow, who was the district’s chief from 2014 to 2018 said unity has the power to bring success, development and can help to address issues affecting people and a nation. “It is through unity that we can help one another, we can sympathy one another and we can help to promote oneness within the community.” he said.                          

He said countries, districts and communities can never attain their full development targets without peace, saying he will always sensitize the people of the district to keep on maintaining peace in order to live in harmony.
