Papa Touray, chairman of the organising committee, began by thanking the media for their wonderful coverage during the tournament, noting that they were able to meet their target of organising a successful tournament meant to unite and foster understanding among the Sarahuleh community in The Gambia.

He said they have also selected a team from the 24 teams that took part in the tournament to represent them in the Nawetaan qualifiers this year.
