Dawda Bah's HJK beat IFK Mariehamn 2-1 to regain top spot in the Finish Veikkausliga League to oust Dawda Savage's Honka, who drew goaless on Sunday.
The Gambia attacker's Honka who top the table last week at 13 points failed to maintain their lead after settling for a draw which allows defending champions HJK to reclaim top spot at 14 points, the same as Honka with the later edging on goal difference
Saturday away match at Manchester Mariehamn IFK was a tough one, but Dawda who missed the Scorpions weekend 5-1 thumping to Mexio in Germany HJK side settled for business.
The first goal was struck by Danny Hoesen in the 8th minute, his first time in HJK-shirt.
Mäkelä increased the score in the 67 minute before IFK Enough sent in the consolation goal in the 88th minute.
HJK Coach Antti, said the 1-2 victory over MIFK did not come easy, but noted that it did not matter as it is an important week for them.
The match was incredibly difficult for us. Hoesen was the hero by striking the opening goal, as well Mäkelä by 0-2 goal.
