The Bundung Magistrates' Court on Monday remanded one Modou Jawo on bail in the sum of D60, 000 for allegedly obtaining money by false means.
According to the particulars of the offence the accused Modou Jawo on the 11th February 2008, at Kololi, obtained from one Yusupha Trawally the sum of D55, 000 with the representation that he owned the green Peugeot vehicle 404, such representation he knew to be false.
He denied the charge before the case was adjourned to the 26th August, 2008 for hearing.
