The Special Criminal Court in Banjul is today expected to deliver judgment in the economic crimes case involving the former Managing Director of Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation, Edward Graham.

The trial judge set today as the date to deliver his judgment in the case following the final closure of the case of both the prosecution and defence.

Indicted since last year, Graham was accused by the state of allegedly causing economic loss to the Home Finance Company, a subsidiary of SSHFC.

Graham was accused of willfully causing the loss of D73, 000 to the company.

Prosecutors said Graham did so when he was the managing director of SSHFC.

The prosecution had called several witnesses in support of its case, while the accused person testified in his own defence, but did not call any witness.

Graham denied when the charge against him was made last year.
