Serajo Jallow and Cherno Suwaibou were recently arraigned before Magistrate Jallow of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with common assault.
They denied the charge, and the case was adjourned to 29 September 2011.
According to the charge sheet, on 7 September 2011 at Brikama garage in Serrekunda in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused persons, Serajo Jallow and Cherno Suwaibou, jointly assaulted one Ali Mbye all over his body and thereby committed an offence.
The accused persons were granted a court bail of D5,000 with a Gambian surety each, who shall deposit an affidavit of means with an ID card.
