Central Bank win governor Jatta trophy

Central Bank are the 2010 champions of the annual Governor Jatta Trophy, following their 8-7 victory over Access Bank on penalty shoot-out after the 90th minutes battle ended 0-0 at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium on Saturday 20th March 2010.

Central Bank, the winners of the championship went home with a giant trophy and a cash prize of D20, 000, while Access Bank received a consolation prize of D15, 000.

The most disciplined team went to the International Commercial Bank. They also received a cash prize of D10, 000, while Alhagie Janneh of Central Bank was named the leading goal scorer, and received a cash prize of D2, 500.
