The
Chief of Defence Staff of the Gambia Armed Force, Lt. General Masanneh Kinteh
Wednesday embarked on a tour of media houses in the country.
Speaking
at the Gambia Radio and Television Services (GRTS), CDS Kinteh promised to
restore the civil-military relationship in the GAF.
He
lamented that most of the activities within the Armed Forces have been
misconstrued by the public.
CDS
Kinteh said the media had played a very crucial role both in terms of public
awareness and in promoting the development agenda of government.
Ebrima
Sillah, the Director General of GRTS, said they value the collaboration,
partnership and cooperation with GAF in particular but generally with all
security services of the country.
