Brikama United overtakes Real De Banjul in GFF 1st Division

Brikama United on Sunday thumped Wallidan 2-0 in the week six fixtures played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to overtake Real de Banjul in the 2014-2015 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) division one league table.

The win earned the Sateyba boys 12 points in six games, and leaves them leading the league table on a goal difference, after Real de Banjul drew goalless with Bakau United on Saturday.

Hawks beat struggling side Serrekunda United 2-1 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium; Gamtel drew 1-1 with Interior at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on the same day.

Real de Banjul are now in second place with 12 points in six games, and Gamtel are third with 11 points in six games.

Interior and Hawks have 7 points each in six games; Wallidan are struggling in second place from bottom with 5 points in six games, while Serrekunda United are languishing at the bottom with a single point in six games.
