Brikama zonal team last Sunday 22nd November 2009, beat Lamin 2-0 in the Group B clash of the Baby Muhammed Yahya Jammeh's Perpetual Super Nawetaan Zonal Football Championship at the Brikama Mini Stadium.
Brikama who mounted pressure on the Lamin's defence line opened the scores through striker Buba Faye in the 55th minute from a close range strike.
Omar sealed the 2-0 win for Brikama in the dying minutes of the game after capitalising on Lamin's defensive slip.
On the same day, Serrekunda East drew 0-0 with Banjul in the other Group B match at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
So far, Brikama top the group with 3 points, Serrekunda East and Banjul each collected a 1point, while Lamin lies at the bottom of the group with no points.
