Brikama resident testifies in court

One Momodou Nyimagta, a resident of Brikama Town recently testified in the ongoing theft case involving one, Samba Jallow.

Testifying before the court, the first prosecution witness (PW1), Momodou Nyimangta told the court that he recognised the accused, Samba Jallow and that he could recall sometime in the month of March 2010.

According to him, on a certain day in the month of March 2010, he was selling in his canteen when the accused came there and sat with him. He informed the court that when a customer came to buy meat, he left the accused to look for change.

Further testifying, PW1 adduced that upon his return he did not find the accused there only to later realised that D800 had gone missing. He said one day, as he was walking in the street he met up with the accused, and confronted him about the missing money. And then took him to the Brikama Police Station.

The case was adjourned to 8th June 2010 for continuation.
