BK-city on Sunday beat Big Tree 3-2 in a tightly contested final game played at the Fajara South football field to lift the Late Abdoulie Jallow Memorial league title.
BK-city opened the tally through Tijan Thomas in the 5th minute of the game from Buba Kambi and Musa Mallet’s astonishing work to give his side the lead.
Ousainou Ogoo levelled the scores for Big-Tree in the 17th minute of the game from Foday Gassama’s fast pace to cancel Tijan Thomas’ 5th minute opener to make it 1-1.
After the break both coaches introduced several fresh legs to boost their attacking tags to clinch the trophy.
Dominic Mendy brought Big-city in front after the 46th minute of the game before Lamin Jarju levelled the score for Big-Tree in the 70th minute of the game to make 2-2.
Bubacarr Jallow grabbed the winner for Big-city in the dying minute of the game to claim the trophy.
Big-city went home with a giant trophy and a cash prize of D12,000, whilst Big-Tree received D7,000 as the runners-up.
The most discipline team received D1,000, whilst the leading goal-scorer and the best player each received D500.
