Banjul United are striving for revenge against Wallidan in their week-fourteen fixtures today, Wednesday 23 March 2016, at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium to move away from the relegation in the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation’s domestic division one league.
The Banjul-based outfit are rock bottom in the top flight and are struggling with only 8 points in thirteen league matches, and will be hunting for revenge after losing to Wallidan 2-1 in the first round to move from the danger zone following their miserable start to the season.
The blue boys are mid-table in the top flight with 15 points in thirteen league matches and will be keen to beat Banjul United to improve their position and also to increase their league title ambitions alive.
Elsewhere, Samger will play against Gambia Armed Forces at the Brikama Box Mini Stadium on the same day.
The Academy boys are also mid-table in the top flight with 16 points in thirteen league matches, and will be racing to defeat Gambia Armed Forces in order to push their chances of clinching their first-ever domestic division one league title.
The Soldiers are among the teams competing for the league title this season with 18 points in thirteen league matches and will be chasing to beat Samger to mount pressure on league leaders Gambia Ports Authority.
