Bakau Beach Soccer Tourney reaches semis

The ongoing Bakau Beach Soccer Tournament under the organisation of Ebrima Eric Drammeh on Sunday reached yet another crucial stage as the 16-team championship entered the semi-final stage at the Ocean Bay Beach side in Cape Point.

Vidar beat Balo FC 2-nil to advance to the semi-final on Sunday whilst Spy crushed to a pulsating 2-nil victory Score 11 after a dramatic penalty shootout earlier on Sunday.

But the game between Jatta Kunda and Bafa FC failed to produce a winner after the final result ended in a goalless draw before it was called off due to darkness.

The match will be replayed on Sunday at the Ocean Bay Beach side in Cape Point and the winner of the tie will meet Birmingham, who edged pass Baby Haddy 2-nil on penalty kicks following an action-packed 1-1 draw in regulation time in the quarterfinals on Sunday.
