Gambia Armed Forces FC on Wednesday drew 0-0 with Young Africans FC at a rescheduled game played at the Banjul mini-stadium.

Very few chances were created by both teams during the 90 minutes period, and no team could capitalize on them, resulting in a goalless draw.

Gambia Armed Forces FC has now collected five points in three games. Young Africans FC is at three points.

Yunusa Barry, the assistant coach of Gambia Armed Forces FC, speaking to reporters after the game, said it was unfortunate that they could only collect a point instead of winning all three points from the game.

He also stated that their objective this season is to win every game and, hopefully, win the title at the end of the league.

"This season, we have a lot of young players who we  are trying to merge with the old ones and, hopefully, we will get there," he stated.

Sulayman Corr of Young Africans said the game was not an easy one, noting that Armed Forces FC is a very big team, as far as Gambian football is concern.

He added that his team is improving game by game, further noting that they do create chances, but his strikers are always in a haste to score, which is the reason for them not often finding the back of the net of their opponents.
