The murder case involving one Lamin Ceesay could not proceed at the Special Criminal Court before Emmanuel Nkea on the grounds that both the defence counsel and state prosecutor were not in court.
When the case was called, the court noticed that both the defence counsel and state prosecutor were not in court.
The judge then informed the accused person that his lawyer was absent and the state counsel was also absent and, as a result, he would adjourn the case.
The case was then adjourned to 10 October 2012, for continuation.
