A woman believed to be in her late 20s was on Sunday killed in her own house in Brusubi, The Point has learnt through impeccable sources.
Though details about the incident remain sketchy, at the time of going to press, sources said the victim, Isatou Bojang-Sanyang, survived by two children, was found dead in her room between the hours of 4am and 5am on Sunday.
At the time of going to press, police sources said one Awa Sanyang, said to be staying in the same apartment with the victim, was arrested and is currently helping the police in their investigations.
The suspect, according to police sources, was reported to have quarrelled with the victim hours before the incident, and in whose house stains of blood were found together with a wooden bar suspected to have been used to hit the victim.
Elsewhere in London Corner, a middle-aged man was also reported to have been killed on Saturday night over a bottle of alcohol.
Three people have been arrested, and are currently helping the police in their investigations.
