The acting Charge d’ Affais at the Libyan Embassy in The Gambia on behalf of the Libyan National Transitional Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Transitional Governmnet of Libya on his own behalf has sent a congratulatory message to Gambian leader Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh on his victory in the just-concluded presidential election.
In their message addressed to the Gambian leader, Mr Lotfi Ezeltni said: “I present to your Excellency sincere congratulations and solicitation of increased blessing on the occasion of your overwhelming and convincing victory in the recent presidential elections.”
The Acting Charge d’ Affairs Ezeltni added: “Mr President your supporting stance with the Libyan people and your clear inclination towards their cause since the beginning of the events in our beloved country against the rule of tyranny and this has made all of us to feel a sense of pride and love for our second country The Gambia where we have lived for a long time in the course of our external work.”
He cited that “As you are always supporting the side of the oppressed and the weak, I pray for Allah to endow your people with happiness, progress and prosperity”.
