The current league leaders Africell FC moved three points clear on top of the 2009-10 Gambia Football Association (GFA) National Division Table, following their narrow 1-0 win over Nema United, in the Week Fifteen fixtures at the West Mini-stadium last Friday.
Africell FC now bagged 26 points, while Nema United collected 22.
Serrekunda United lost to the newly promoted side Banjul United 1-0, at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda. Banjul United now collected 23 points, while losers Serrekunda United are at 15 points.
Tallinding United defeated Serrekunda East 2-1 in the all Serrekunda derby.
Tallinding United is at 20 points, while Serrekunda East settled for 22 points.
Relegation threatened Latrikunda United who are at 15 points defeated Western side Lamin FC at 21 points 1-0, at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.
Elsewhere, last year’s FA cup champions Young Africans defeated the newly promoted side Flamemins 1-0 at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
Young Africans are at 23 points, while Flamemins stood at 15 points.
