Briefing journalists at GPU conference hall, about their new movie project, Momodou Lamin Touray, an actor, who is also the Secretary General of Adams Productions, said they are working on a new project called Nina which needs sponsorship.
"We are looking for sponsorship from any corners of the world so that our Nina movie project can be a reality for all Gambians and the
Touray said it is part of their plans to transform Adams Productions into Adams Production Company, adding that most of their members are working with GRTS.
"We do most of our script, both in Mandinka and Wollof, and we also take part in the production process, as well as in the acting," he said, further asserting that "we are doing that process for more than 15 years now".

"We also informed them that this Nina project when implemented is going to be a Senegambia project," Touray went on, adding that Senegal and the Gambia share a lot in common, and the Nina movie project is all about bringing Senegalese and Gambian actors together. "Right now, we are facing some financial constraints to move on with the Nina movie project. We are to organise fund-raising so that we can start the Nina project in earnest.
"This cannot be done in isolation; that's why we want to involve the press to help us disseminate the information to the general populace about the intention of Adams Productions on the Nina movie project. "We need sponsorship for Nina Movie Project," Touray declared.
He also mentioned some of the famous Senegalese actors whom they met in Senegal during their visit, like Mandioye Laye Sarr, Mbaye Dose and Saneex, and "they all appreciated our move", he announced.
Mam Demba Ceesay the treasurer of Adams Productions said Adams Productions is purely Gambians, and that most of the famous or talented Gambian actors or actresses are members of Adams Productions. He singled out those actors/ress namely, Amie Cherry, Habibatou Jallow, Momodou Lamin Touray, Aby Jobe, among others.
"We also include other young Gambian actors or actresses, those who are not well-known, but they are very good in acting.
