8 teams line up in Secondary School’s Basketball Tourney

Eight secondary schools have lined up for the 2010 Gambia Secondary School Sports Association (GSSSA) basketball tournament.

The schools are Saint Augustine’s Senior Secondary School, Gambia Senior Secondary School, SOS Senior Secondary School, Muslim Senior Secondary School, Bansang Senior Secondary School, Armitage Senior Secondary School, Daddy Jobe Senior Secondary School and Essau Senior Secondary School.

Sponsored by Scholar Athletics for Change, the basketball contest will commence on Saturday, 18 December 2010, according to Alagie S. Darboe, secretary-general of the GSSSA.

Saint Augustine’s Senior Secondary School basketball team will take on Muslim Senior Secondary School at the Independence Stadium Basketball Lawn at 9am in the curtain raiser.

Also on the same day, SOS Senior Secondary School will clash with Armitage Senior Secondary School.
