The 2015 West African Examination Council (WAEC) private examinations kick-started last week.
The Point has learned that candidates have already taken paper 3 which is listening and comprehension of English Language commonly known as “Oral”, held at various registered school centres.
Sources close to The Point said that over 360 candidates took the exam on the Oral paper at Nusrat Senior Secondary School last Wednesday.
Some candidates also took health science on Thursday and economics last Saturday at various schools.
The examination has continued, with more papers to be taken as the clock ticks.
Candidates are struggling to burn the midnight candle to excel in the examinations, with a greater percentage of them having registered for the English and Math papers to gain university admission.
The WAEC officials held orientation session at the various registered centres to advise candidates on the rules and regulations of the examinations, in which so far, since the commencement of the 2015 exams, candidates have been confirmed “obedient”.
