The album which contains six tracks will be launched at Pencha Mii Hall, Paradise Suite Hotel. The album is geared to celebrate and recognise the exceptional and invaluable work of great individuals in our society.
In a chat with The Point Entertainment and Life Style on Wednesday at Jacaranda Bar and Restaurant, Modou Kara, said the event will be one of its kind in the country’s history of music. He therefore called on all Gambians and non Gambians alike to come and witness a night of ambience.
Modou Kara is a renowned Gambian artiste who has been in the industry since the early 90s. He has worked with legends like the late Alhagie Mbye, late Musa Ngum, Alhagie Ebou Cham, Pa Omar Jack,Yusupha Ngum and the Kebba Taylor Band.
Modou Kara Gaye was one of the founding members of KMC Cultural Group backed in 1996 under the leadership of Laye Conteh, former KMC Mayor. Kara has also mentored many young artistes.
