Who will replace Real de Banjul in the 2021 CAF club competition after the city-boys declined to represent The Gambia in the continent’s top tier football club championship.

The city boys were supposed to represent the country in the continent’s elite club tournament after Gambia Football Federation (GFF) decided to declare the 2019-2020 leagues null and void after President Adama Barrow declared twenty-one days of State of Public Emergency in a bid to combat covid-19 pandemic.

Real de Banjul was leading the league standings with 29 points prior to the cancellation of the league by GFF last week.

Meanwhile, Gambia Armed Forces will represent The Gambia in the continent’s second tier football club competition next year following GFF’s cancelled of the league championship last week.

The soldiers were occupying second-spot in the top flight league table with 23 point before the cancellation of the league by the Gambia Football Federation.
