Wagadu FC thrash Unique Global to progress to FF Cup quarterfinals

Wagadu FC on Tuesday thrashed Unique Global FC 3-0 in their round of 16 match played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum to  progress to the quarterfinals of  The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) FF Cup Competition.

The Pythons, who were forced to a goalless draw by Unique Global FC in the first half of the match, improved on their tactics in the second half of the match.

Wagadu FC scored three quick goals in the space of ten minutes to secure a resounding win over Unique Global FC.

The Wagadu boys under the guidance of Coach Muhammad Tunkara progressed to the last eight of the FF Cup competition after their stunning victory over Unique Global FC.

Unique Global FC will now be competing in the Second Division League campaign following their elimination from the FF Cup competition.

Unique Global boys  sit16th position on the Second Division League table with 19 points after 19 league matches.

Wagadu FC occupy 6th position on the country’s Second Tier table with 28 points in 19 league matches.
