Top flight Italian side Hellas Verona has signed Scorpions winger Ebrima Colley on a season-long loan with an option to buy at the end of the season from Atalanta Bergamo.

The 20-year-old Gambian international is believed to be one of the emerging stars in the Italian Serie after making his debut last season and featuring in five games for Atalanta. He provided an assist after being promoted to the senior team in February this year.

The scorpions’ sensational forward primarily plays down the left, but can also be a centre-forward.

He is a product of the Atalanta youth academy and was also linked with Parma, Genoa and RSC Anderlecht.

It seems Verona have agreed terms for a paid loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Colley made five senior appearances for Atalanta last season. He also starred for the Primavera youth team finding the net 15 times in 18 games.
