Kamaso stated that the recent provisional approval granted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is a monumental milestone for The Gambia.
He further stated that the approval by CAF vindicates heavy capital investment and tireless engineering adjustments made to elevate the Independence Stadium to modern international benchmarks.
Kamaso stated that the upgrading of the Independence Stadium would restore true home-ground advantage and brings national pride back to Gambian football.
"We recognize that true structural sustainability requires a seamless, transparent and robust partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports," Kamaso said.
Kamaso applauded the government of The Gambia for their resilience through the logistical hurdles of the complex remodeling process.
He added that Team Restore Confidence is ready to partner with goverment to turn the newly modernized stadium into a fortress of victories for the Scorpions and a hub of excellence for the youth of The Gambia.
