TMT moves 2nd in GFF Division 2 League

TMT FC have moved to second position in The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League table standing following their win in the week-nine fixtures played on Tuesday.

TMT beat Immigration 2-1 during a match played at the KG5 Mini Stadium in Banjul.

The result puts TMT on 2nd position with 18 points, while Immigration dropped to 6th position with 14 points.

Gunjur United defeated Kuteh Jumbulu 2-1 during a game played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

The triumph moved Gunjur United to 8th position with 13 points, while Kuteh Jumbulu languish at rock bottom (18th) position with 5 points.

Jam City defeated Tallinding United 1-0 during a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.

Modou Lamin Marong's 62nd minute goal was all but enough to give Jam City the maximum points.

The win moved Jam City to 5th position with 15 points, while Tallinding United occupy 13th position with 8 points.

Medical thumped Jarra West 2-0 during a game played at the Soma Mini Stadium.

Lawrence Mendy and Kalipha Dampha scored for the Central River Region-based team.

The victory puts Medical at 14th position with 8 points, while Jarra West dropped to 17th position with 7 points.

Kanifing East and Latrikunda United played a goalless draw during a game played at the Bakau Mini Stadium.

The result puts Kanifing East at 16th position with 7 points and Latrikunda at 11th position with 11 points.
