TMT FC defeated Samger FC 2-0 away during their week-19 fixture of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League played at the Bakau Mini Stadium on Saturday.
Amadou Demba opened the scoring for TMT in the 65th minute, before Sanna Jassey doubled their lead in the 78th minute, leaving the Academy Boys continue with their struggles.
The Abousey-based team, TMT FC now recorded their sixth win of the league, while the Academy Boys, Samger FC suffered their twelfth loss of the season.
TMT FC overall collected six triumphs, eight draws and suffered five defeats in the 19 matches, while Samger FC overall registered five wins, two draws and suffered twelve losses after 19 games.
The win puts TMT FC at 8th position with 26 points, while Samger drop to 15th position with 17 games.
