Sukuta Newtown Football Academy and Solid Football Academy both played brilliant football and crafted several goal scoring opportunities but failed to score thus the match ended goalless.
As champions, Sukuta Newtown Football Academy went home with a giant trophy and a cash prize of D30, 000, while Solid FC received D20,000 as runners-up.
Head Coach of Sukuta Newtown Football Academy, Alasana Touray, expressed delight for winning the Serrekunda Central Super Cup title.
Touray stated that his boys played very well and created chances during the match but were unlucky to score," Touray said.
He revealed that it’s joy playing in artificial grass for the first time after moving away playing from sandy school field for a very long.
Head coach of Solid Football Academy, Moses Kargbo, thanked his boys for their brilliant performance during the final.
"This is the second final we have played and we won one before.”
“The final was a learning for my young team and we have a long way to go," Kargbo said.
