Sinchu Wuri make strong start to Kombo South District tournament

Sinchu Wuri on Saturday made a strong start to the 2025\2026 Kombo South District football tournament following their hard-fought 2-1away victory over Madina Salam at the Madina Salam Football Field.

Medina Salam took the lead just minutes into the second half.

Sinchu Wuri levelled the scores in the 46th minute of the match.

They scored their winning goal in the 70th minute of the match from a spectacular free-kick to secure a slender over Madina Salam.

Elsewhere, Deya succumbed to their second successive defeat in the Kombo South District football tournament after losing to Mamuda 2-1 at the Kachumeh Football Field on Saturday.
